CBD Vape Juice vs CBD tincture?

CBD oil, completely different from hemp seed oil, has been traditionally used as an oral tincture. It usually contains MCT oil (derived from coconuts) or hemp seed oil, and is not suitable for inhalation! Studies have shown that inhaling oil like that can pose serious health risks like lipoid pneumonia.

Unlike CBD vape juice, CBD tinctures are strictly for ingestion using the sublingual method. You should be aware that many of the products on the market do not have distinct if warning labels and are sold in e-juice style dropper bottles.

There’s an important distinction to make between CBD oil tinctures and CBD oil made for inhalation. CBD oral tinctures are oil-based, whereas CBD vape oil is not. Now let’s take a closer look at the various types of CBD products that are suitable for vaping.

  • CBD vape juice – CBD made for vaping is often described as “CBD vape oil”, but it doesn’t contain any actual oil. This is a serious misunderstanding, and you should be very careful when you choose your CBD product and its purpose. A CBD vape product contains nothing but PG, VG, CBD extract, terpenes, and cannabinoids. You should be able to spot easily on the label terms like vaping, vape juice, e-liquid or e-juice, and no oils.

  • CBD cartridges – This product is a slim disposable e-cig tank filled with CBD vape juice. They connect to a standard battery. The e-liquid is warmed to a certain temperature, which triggers the CBD vaping process.
